-William Blake claimed to have mystical visions throughout his lifetime. When Blake was just 4 years old, he claimed to have looked out his window and see God, and at age 9 he witnessed a tree full of angels.

- As talented as Blake was, he married an illiterate woman and taught her how to read and write so they could work together and produce his work.

-Blake credits many of his ideas for art and literature to conversations he had with his dead brother Robert
